The Am Ve'olam Foundation, in partnership with the Historical Society of Israel, presents an annual prize to an outstanding and innovative historical book published in the Hebrew language. The winning book  must demonstrate, ground--breaking research as well as offering a meaningful contribution to society with public implications. Submissions are welcome from authors and publishers alike, from all r fields dealing with research of the past, including history, Jewish history, history of the Land of Israel, Middle East studies, art history, archaeology, folklore, cultural studies and more. Books submitted for the prize must be in the Hebrew language, published within the last four years, whose author is an Israeli resident.
