

The Historical Society of Israel
The society was founded in 1924. It publishes 2 journals, Zion and Historia, one in the history of the Jewish people, and the other about general History. These journals publish the research of researchers from different fields, from Israel and around the world. The Historical Society of Israel pushes the advance of the field of history in general, and specifically in the study of the Jewish people.

The journal Zion—published in Jerusalem since 1935—is considered the leading journal in Jewish history. Founded by Prof. Ben-Zion Dinur and Prof. Yitzhak Baer.
Historia
The academic journal Historia is a biannual publication, first published in 1998. Historia is intended as a platform for research in the field of global and world history written in Hebrew.
