Winners of the prize

The Prize in Memory of Professor Ezra Mendelsohn and Professor Jonathan Frankel was awarded to Dr. Semyon Goldin for his book The Russian Army and the Jewish Population, 1914–1917: Libel, Persecution, Reaction (Cham: Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).

The Prof. Ezra Mendelsohn Memorial and Prof. Jonathan Frankel Memorial Prize for Outstanding Books on Eastern European Countries and Jewish Life Therein was awarded to Prof. Rachel Mankin for her book: “Rebellious Girls: The Girls’ Revolt in Habsburg Galicia”, published by Y.L. Magnes Press, 2024.

The prize named after the late Professors Ezra Mendelsohn and Jonathan Frankel was awarded to Dr. Meirav Reuveni for her book Not Just a Symbol The Making of Modern Hebrew, published by the Shazar Center Press in 2025.
