HSI in collaboration with the Confucius Institute and the Louis Frieberg Center for
East Asian Studies, hosted the academic evening on the
topic: “Humans and Animals in East Asia,” on the occasion of the launch of
Issue 54 of the journal “Historia,” dedicated to the theme “Humans and
Animals in the Chinese World.”

The event took place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 4:30 PM, at the Maiersdorf
Faculty Club, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mount Scopus Campus.
